International Non-Binary People’s Day

International Non-Binary Peoples day is observed each year on the 14th of July, and is aimed at raising awareness and organizing around the issues faced by non-binary people around the world. The day was first celebrated in 2012 and was started by Katje van Loon. It’s celebration day is precisely chosen midway between International Men’s day and International Women’s Day. This day is specifically for those that do not identify with the traditional gender binary. The United States first legally recognized non-binary person was Elisa Rae Shupe. We love you and we see you.
