Good day, all you incredible Heathens!

Today, November 2, marks the culmination of one of the most well-known holidays in North America – Dia de los Muertos! The Day of the Dead!

This holiday is celebrated all across North America, but finds its roots firmly planted in Mexico. People all across Mexico (and among those of Mexican heritage around the world) celebrate by feasting, parades, music, cleaning and decorating gravesites and/or making lavish altars to loved ones who have passed on.

One of the key things to remember is that while there are many traditions to this holiday, there is no “one” or “uniform” way to celebrate it! Each region – and even each family – may celebrate it differently. The key thing is to remember and cherish our loved ones who have passed on. Will you be celebrating today? Who will you be remembering?
