Meaning: Cattle (wealth)

Pronounced: fey-Who

Now Fehu, a rune meaning wealth, can be a promise of abundance and fortune or a warning of greed and selfishness. While one who shares and helps others will see an abundance of happiness, friendship, and wealth, one who hoards his money will lose joy, relationships, and perhaps wealth. I truly love the line from Diana L. Paxson’s Taking Up the Runes: “True riches are the wealth the soul gains from a life well-lived.”
