Daily Rune – Bjarkan

An amazing Frigg’s day to you all! Todays pull is….Bjarkan….which….kind of makes me laugh a little. It’s one of two runes associated with Frigg, and oddly enough, I just had the strangest encounter with her that I can ever recall with any energy. This…is…very interesting indeed!

á›’ björk/bjarkan/bjarken (“birch”) means “birch tree”. The rune of the Goddess and birth.

Sound: “b”, “p”, “v”, “mb”, “mp”

Meaning: The birch twig represents rebirth and purification as does the rune Bjarkan. It is also a woman’s rune symbolizing gestation and birth.
