Good Sunna’s day amigos!! Todays pull is Eihwaz. I seem to keep getting pulled towards regeneration, changes, and magick. More positive growth, renewal. This, for me is a great thing. I had hit a slump there for a bit, but things have turned around and have been working out seemingly better then I had hoped, and hope that I continue on this path for a while. We all have ups and downs. It’s what we learn in those processes and how we grow from them that is important.
EIHWAZ
(eeh-wahz)
Yew
Death, regeneration, rebirth, changes, magic
Eihwaz is often compared to the death card in the tarot, although the runes as we know them precede the Tarot by at least a thousand years. Interestingly they both carry the number 133. Both represent regeneration and new beginnings as much as they do endings.
As a symbol of the yew and of regeneration it is also associated with magical work and in that of a protective nature and/or dealing with transformation
as we are tested, we fund the power to avert blockage and defeat. At the same time, we develop in ourselves an act that creates stress in our lives.
Patience is the counsel that Eihwaz offers; nothing hectic, no acting needy or lusting after an outcome desired. Perseverance and foresight are called for here. The ability to foresee consequences before you act
Magical uses: Protection, overcoming obstacles, spiritual development, strengthening personal and magical power. Good banishing energy, divination, and past life recall
