Good Thor’s Day! Todays rune is Hagall. We’ve been seeing this a lot lately. Being my recent connection with Heimdallr, and being the first rune in his Aett, it’s really no surprise. However, this one is going hard. I still feel this has to do with transformation, and him being known for seeing and hearing across the 9 realms. His connection to humankind. As I grow with his knowledge, my practice takes a different shape. It’s becoming more about being human, being there for people, and less about ritual, formalities, titles, and the like. I’ve said it 1000 times, we’re never masters, only here on a path of wisdom.
ᚼ Hagall (“hail”) means “hailstone”. The rune of sudden change.
Sound: “h”
Meaning: Just like hail will eventually transform into water we need to see that situations in our lives will do just the same. They will transform something restricting into something that flows more readily for us. This is what Hagall represents, a transformation of a situation into something simpler.
