Good Tyr’s day friends. Todays rune is Madhr of the Younger Futhark. The rune of mankind, and the rune of planning. The latter of which is where I’m being pulled with this today. As I embark on another project madly typing away, I feel like planning is key. To step back, assess, re-assess, and then go back to it. This needs a clear picture and little confusion. There’s too much of that today as it is.
ᛘ maðr (“man”). The rune of the first man Mannus. The rune of planning, intelligence, and awareness. The rune symbolizes the continuity of the family.
Sound: “mâ€
Meaning: This rune stands not only for humankind but also represents the mythical “first man,†Mannus (or Mannaz). Since it represents humankind, it symbolizes the continuity of the family and clan.
