Good Thor’s day! Todays rune is Raidho. This signifies the journey and adventure I just took. It was an awesome experience. Did some hiking, didn’t think I was gonna make it on the second trail, which we went in the wrong way, traveled the entire thing only to pop out at the wrong side and had to do it all backwards to get back. Panic and anxiety set in at one point. No water, no meds, I was drained, and didn’t think I could get there. Almost passed out. It was quite the experience. One last internal scream to the gods and we made it, and made it back to the cabin and to our dinner reservations with one minute to spare. I’m leaving a lot out intentionally, but I really don’t know how we made it. I should still be sitting on a stump in the middle of the woods haha! Regardless, it was a fantastic trip, and I wouldn’t trade those moments with my wife for anything. It was a symbol of everything we’ve ever gone through and accomplished together. I’m just in awe of it all.

The meaning of Raidho is that the progress towards greater consciousness, the journey is to be understood both physically and metaphorically. Raidho invites us to have faith in our dreams and to get closer to them to get to the root of our nature. Acting independently will make us stronger and more aware of our limitations. It can also be a reminder to align yourself with the wheel of life. It can be an indicator that now is a good time for negotiations or deliberations.
