Good Wotenâs day! Todays rune is Tyr from the Younger Futhark. Here I think itâs representing the cosmic order of things as it pertains to our spirituality. Whatever path we follow is not important. What is important is that we see the divine in everything, and the order amongst the chaos.
á Týr the rune of god Tyr. Divine order. The rune of “victory” and “honor”.
Sound: âtâ, âdâ, ântâ, ândâ
Meaning: In the world of the cosmos this rune represents orderliness. In the physical world, this rune signifies law and order.
Norwegian rune poem **
á Týr er æinendr ása;
opt værðr smiðr blása.
Translation **
á Tyr
Tyr is a one-handed god;
often has the smith to blow.
