Good Friggâs day friends! Todays rune is Ur of the Younger Futhark. I see it here as a rebirth of sorts. A blessing(s) that have sprung up from the ashes of the old. These kinds of things just happen at random when you choose to focus on positive ideals and outlooks instead of negative.
ᢠúr (“iron”/ “rain”) sudden danger or blessings.
Sound: âuâ, âoâ, âyâ, âwâ
Meaning: Represents how some things can develop from nothingness. Like the fertile soil that can be created from volcanic ash which in turn with a slight amount of water and sunlight can spawn growth.
Norwegian rune poem **
ᢠÃr er af illu jarne;
opt løypr ræinn á hjarne.
Translation **
ᢠUr
Dross comes from bad iron;
the reindeer often races over the frozen snow
