Sowilo stands for wholeness, that which our nature requires. It embodies the impulse towards self-realization and indicates the path you must follow – not from ulterior motives but from the core of your individuality.
Seeking after wholeness is the Spiritual Warriors path, and yet you are striving to become in actuality what, by nature you already are.
This Rune reminds us to open ourselves up, letting the light into a part of our life that has been secret, shut away. To accomplish this it may call for a profound recognition, admitting to ourselves something we have denied or hidden.
While the sun is crucial to life, its power can be harmful if its intensity is not balanced with other forms of energy. Sowilo may be asking you to look at how you are directing your vitality. Are you scattered over too many activities or commitments> Are you neglecting your health at the risk of burning out?
Alternately you may be making something out to be bigger or more significant than it really is or placing yourself in the spotlight when you should step back a moment.
SUGGESTION: Practice the art of doing without doing. Aim yourself true and maintain your aim without manipulative effort. (even in loving it is love that loves through us – now try aiming that love at yourself)
