In March of 2021, the book club was born out of a desire to create a study group or a gathering of like minds- the book-loving kind. Our beloved Kat was the first to head this group and it started with Neil Gaiman’s Norse mythology.
Times change, and people’s lives change but the Book club kept going.
Our next moderator for the Book Club is our current, known as Sprinkle, Corey led her first Book with great success. The Wanderers Hávamál read in sections with the group each week. There was input from the AtN Hávamál in plain English and I understand there was an interesting Goblin interpretation of some of the entries as well.
This group is growing in strength and numbers and seems to be greatly interested in the educational books over the fiction offerings. I mean, we are in the religion of homework, so it was really cool to see so many interested in the history and lore of Norse Paganism.
The next book is being decided on this week and they are having a movie/show viewing between books!
