I don’t wear jewelry very often. So when I was asked to make the weekly hammer post this week I decided to get a bit creative to show you my mjolnir. I have several – altar items, wall deco, just ones I have made or collected. Honestly, I am more connected to Tyr than Thor, but I think the mjolnir represents more than a simple connection to Thor. I see it as a talisman of protection to an extent. As a tradesman I typically have a mjolnir somewhere close while working. This is used to be a sticker in my hard hat, but we don’t wear hard hats at my current job. I have one on my bag, and when I remember I have one in my pocket.
