Good Woten’s day! Todays rune is Othala. I feel like we haven’t seen this one in a bit, maybe it’s because I’ve been tuning more into the younger futhark lately. Regardless, what I pick up here at the moment is communication with the ancestors. I feel compelled to say that its never to late to say goodbye, and never too late to meet the ones you never got a chance to. Even if you can’t do so physically, you can stop by and say “hello” on the spiritual level. A simple way to do this would be to envision that person, as best you can, at least what you think about the way they look, light a candle, take a few breaths, relax and say HI! Leave an offering of some fruit or flowers outside where nature can do its thing. This is a common practice we need to all focus a bit more on. I’ve been doing it once a week for a while now, though I’m usually trying to reach the same person, I’m also left with a sense of great peace afterwards.
