Good Thor’s Day. Day of the thunderer. Todays rune is Raidho. It is fitting. As I’ve made a conscious decision to delve even deeper into runic wisdom by traveling through the Elder and Younger Futharks. One day at a time, one rune at a time. The ultimate journey, and in a way a sacrifice of myself to myself. In ways as the All-Father, Odin, had done. One rune, each day, deep dive. No exceptions to that rule. I’ll keep a journal of it, so I can look back and reflect on that journey. It’s going to be one Hel of a ride.

Travel, journey, movement, reunion, changes
The meaning of Raidho is that the progress towards greater consciousness, the journey is to be understood both physically and metaphorically. Raidho invites us to have faith in our dreams and to get closer to them to get to the root of our nature. Acting independently will make us stronger and more aware of our limitations. It can also be a reminder to align yourself with the wheel of life. It can be an indicator that now is a good time for negotiations or deliberations.
Magical uses: safe travels, navigating inner journeys, maintaining equanimity in challenging situations, and justice in disputes.
